As an individual who dont use insurance I cant afford the 11,500.00 it would cost me. Very frustrating. As a trucker I could really use this to help. I dont want to be a 500 lbs female trucker that's a heart attack waiting to happen.

So far. Yes. It’s TOO expensive. Insurance is a total exclusion. Medical financing like prosper is denied because I have no credit history I’ve never done anything that reported to credit ….. I barely make 21k a year Surgeon said 14,180,.. self pay price 492 lbs. I don’t see a way to pay for this

Can u gain the weight back. I just started the process for the sleeve. I had the lap band surgery in 2011. Started gaining weight, and I wasn't eating out of control. Went to my primary doctor, got diagnosed hypothyroidism. Now if I get the sleeve will I have a problem with losing weight. No matter how I'm watching what I eat, I can't lose

The sleeve is a tool to help people lose weight. It's up to each individual how to use the tool and how serious they are about losing weight. We have seen folks gain weight after the sleeve surgery but mostly because of a traumatic life event, or other health related issue. The best thing to do is speak to your surgeon to figure out the best procedure for you for long-term success :)
