I just watched this with my kids and I started crying. They both started shouting that they wanted to fly and i promised them they would. Time to start paragliding again. When I first saw this video years ago I didn’t think it was possible to experience this activity. It was like some are born to be able to do this and the rest of us; not. The dream seemed so big it felt impossible. But a few years later on my way from work in the sky I saw some guys who were flying powered paragliders near my town. I met them and made a plan, and now I have been flying for two years. Watching this video now, through different eyes, is nostalgic and surreal. Chase your dreams guys. This is possible for anyone with enough determination and perseverance, even if it takes a few years anyone can learn it. I know a pilot who flies with one hand and another has prosthetic legs. You only live once. Don’t wait till you are too old to get out of bed.

@@iandocherty5278 Google powered paragliding or paragliding training. USHPA or USPPA in USA can give you a list of instructors. There are events called Fly ins. Go to one near you and observe and talk to people.

When I think that MY SPORT is not the same than the one of this video and from Jean-Baptiste...;-) When, sometimes, I think I should be younger now. I started flying in 1989 in Tenerife (Canary Islands). I was one of the first pilots in my land (with Gredos, basically a parachute). Now I am 54. I lost years of my life flying not too much. I go on flying...But like an old person...He,he,he...All my admiration to Jean and to all the great pilots in Canarias who makes so great flights (and videos). When I see how PARAPENTE has evolved, I get excited....

I had to return to watch you again, a new thought came to mind 'Flying', it's such a wonderful feeling flying my Drone, I have two, I'm up above the crowds watching, watching all the people on the ground moving around and enjoying each other, running , swimming, surfing, then I see the para-sails and truly see how much freedom they have up in the sky above all the people on the ground. Well this gal (librarian) never gets tired of looking at this video - I love it!! When I'm having a crappy day, I just check this out and it gives me such joy.
