Weiherer Rolator & Privatbrauerei Reh Der dunkle Reh-Bock | TMOH - Beer Review

Yeah they called it Rolator because it was Rolands 50th birthday funny😂 I think Rotator gets brewed in May, because usually Mai Bock's are light colored (Helle/Blonde) Bocks. This Bock is one of my favorite it's so hoppy, and haa got one of my favorite hops inside - Weiherer/Kundmüller grows themselves - Spalter Select. You gotta try the Rauchbock from Weiherer and Cervejaria Bamberg from Brasil if you haven't yet! Smokey like ham but a hint of bubblegum taste also with Spalter Select and a very nice tuned body balance with a redish amber color if I remember correctly. Get a new Rolator and rate it!

Oh man.. When I first got into beer, more than a decade ago I swore to all things aged. Which unfortunately resulted me in putting random pastry stouts and what not in my 18 degree basement for YEARS. I think still have some Mikkeller Beer Geek Dessert from 2016 laying around, haha.

Oh and I also once had a vertical of Westvleteren 12. I believe it was 1 year, 3 year, 5 year and 10 years. Two middle ones were by far the best. Older does not mean better for sure.

Oh that also happens to le all the time, I just don't find any time to drink beer, because I like to drink together with my brothers, and so if I'm alone I don't drink haha. I got my hands on some Hoptimum it's called I believe from Sierra Nevada and haven't tried it yet even tho you should drink hoppy beer fresh, although I think that's almost a barley wine with around 11% abv hahaha

Why? I like the Helle Bocks more although the Andechs Doppelbock is very dark thick and kinda malty sweet with around 8% abv I like that too
