If you open up and flip the top parts of the ratchet joints in hotspots hips they'll work like really tight friction joints and let you get the range of motion/poses you want.

Nice catch! I missed these on the site. I passed on all the CW stuff except The KO Megatrons w/die-cast and kits and the official Cyclonus. This scale with the die-cast is very tempting though, I hope they do more!

My apologies for digging up old video, but I have to share this ;). I bought these (with proper Streetwise and First Aid instead of clones), so far i got package with Hot Spot and Blades (the rest is in second parcel, seller had to split my order to ship it :D). Man, these are huge... Larger than I expected (I got OS Black Mamaba "Dinoforce" figures few months ago and these are smaller then WJ "Protectobots"). Hot Spot is almost leader (CW leader, not dwarfy Siege leader) and Blades is pretty much CW voyger. Lots of die cast, very heavy :D. And usual WJ quality (though their recent War Eagle and Sabretooth are somewhat lower quality than older releases) - tabs peg/tab so firmly I thought I won't transform Blades into robot mode :D. Really decent KO, can't wait to get the rest and combine them :D,

So, I got the rest of figures, didn't expect Defensor to be so heavy :). He's ok, only issue I have is swivel on Hot Spot's right biceps - it keeps sliding of mushroom peg (not a problem in combined mode). The chest plate worries me a bit - it's made of soft, thin plastic, I'm sure it will warp eventually... During recent "Anniversary Sale" on AliExpress I bought Blue Rook and Alpha Bravo. Blue Rook - I think alternate colors make him look a lot better (especially black and navy blue), much closer to Police/SWAT armored vehicle (though he's still my least favorite CW mold). Alpha Bravo is ok, I like colour changes - these black parts make him less bland :).

The retail box is just space wasting / all my KOs stuff (well except the MP stuff) I get loose as it's WAY cheaper on international shipping. cheapest around for international right now for this one is Ali Express. Otherwise in US you have the usual places. But I've bought from Ali, Ebay and Sirtoys many times, loose toys with no issues. They have names they are pretty cool/bizarre... 'Alpha' = Alpha Bravo 'General' (Or Great General) = blue Rook 'Big Heat' = Hot Spot 'Steel Blade' = Blades 'Steward Lockhart' = white Rook (yes really he's actually called that!)

this may be an oversized version of the protectobots but they are still WRONG First Aid the ambulance is not there Groove the motorcycle is not there and Street Wise the police car is not there either! therefore these are make shift made up transformers because Alpha Bravo must have been made up from some other combiner because they tried replacing 1 of the aerial bots in his stead, and taking a look at Hotspot he looks like a remodel version of Onslaught from the combaticons even as oversize

The combine mode looks like sh*t! The proportions are ridiculously off. The damn feet is super tiny. Bruticus looks great though cause its proportion looks much better. I got 2 of the Weijiang Bruticus cause it looks great and the build quality is pretty solid and surprisingly dirt cheap. I wouldn't pay $ on this crap. Hurts my eyes just looking at this crap.
