you're right, i am referring to the replicas though, like factory five racing or superperformance cobras. They make those with stock 427 engines that can pull a speedo in 3.6!! an original would certainly be hard to find :)

thats crazy man, a stock kirkham 427 500hp cobra runs 3.6 I visited the shop in provo utah last month, but put 1350 hp in the same car and it will smoke a veyron 0-60 hands down.

@IssaBendeck1 Around Nordschleife, compare that Cobra with Kiesas GTR. Cobra is probably about 3 mins behind. Or Pikes Peak, same result. This Cobra is very nice for the sound and for going straight till it goes unstable at some high speed. A GTR isnt built for cruising and drag racing, its an allround performance, not for show.

a cobra is technically a mid-engined car. the engine is pretty far back from the front axle and many of them have %52-%55 of the weight on the rear plus super low weight equals great traction

Why would that be a lie? In a car which weighs less than a tonne with 1350hp it is possible. 200kmh is roughly 125 mph. Nissan skylines with only 800hp can hit 100mph in 5 seconds and weigh somthing like 1400kg so i think this cobra could do 0-125 in sub 5 secs with 1350hp.

Ich find an den Motoren nix besonders außer viel Hubraum. Da haben doch die Leute mehr Respekt verdient die aus z.B nem 2,1L reihen Fünfzylinder 850PS/900NM rauskitzeln.... und was bringen 1200 oder noch mehr PS mit Hinterradantrieb wenn mans erst ab 150kmh auf die Straße bringt?
