Andrew, you have brought us some exciting, inspirational and interesting caravans, motorhomes and trailers and this motorhome from Weinsberg is no exception. I genuinely, from the bottom off my heart, loved every minute of your vlogs from the Caravan Show Düsseldorf. You are the consummate professional, with a relaxed tone and a slight touch of humour. Thank you so much for what you do, I sincerely mean it. Take care to you and Dougal.

Aww, thank you Taffy! Still a couple more to go. Yes, I ended up having to tear myself away from the show as I could have filmed at least another dozen, but the next trip beckons... All the best.

Hi folks! Just to clarify that this is a TWO BERTH motorhome and is 6.75m long, NOT 6m as I said in the video, misled by its 600 moniker. it has four travel seats in case you want to take your friends out for the evening, or if your grandkids are tagging along but sleeping in their own tent outside.

A very nice presentation. We ordered one early August and your presentation confirms that this is the Motorhome for us. Not too long so that I can get it on my front drive, not too wide making it easier on the roads and two beds above the garage make it great for storage along with us not disturbing each other during the night. Not sure when it will arrive due to general shortage of parts but I can wait. Quality and layout looks to be excellent. Cheers Martin

OOOOOOH I like the sliding wash basin! It could be left to the left most of the time and slid to the right just to shower, I like it. Shoulder room looked a touch small however when ‘seated’ but small compromise for a clever idea.
@carolynandcocohaywood26383 жыл бұрын
I like the separate shower and sink but not the toilet. Having all the electric, water fill and water outlets all together in the side of the van is brilliant, no fiddling under the van for dirty outlets.

Glad you corrected yourself on the length of this motorhome at 6.75 m long. I really like this motorhome a lot. My only gripe is that if you want a combined oven and grill installed its an optional extra at £650. None the less it's a fabulous quality motorhome, almost on a par with Burstners harmony line td590 which is almost a 6m van. Thank you for this presentation.

Like the easy box, not a new idea, Carlight developed something similar years ago, but great idea for the waste tank valves. No getting underneath on wet grass.

I think dougal is getting a bit tried with this motorhome work maybe he needs a caravan or two just to wake him up. Love the videos keep it going.

I see it was on the new Fiat with the new leather steering wheel with controls, and so will also have the new digital dash, which is such an improvement over the one thatäs hardly changed for years. That toilet looks a tight fit even when the sink's slid back. Thanks for all the vids this week. Great to see a whole bunch of really varied stuff each day. Hope there's more to come. Dougal is so brilliant, the way he sits back with his arm around you. :-)

The 'easy travel box' idea and sliding wash basin has come from Knaus (it's on our Sun Ti) and has filtered through to Weinsberg as they are part of the same company
@TerryMcDonagh2 жыл бұрын
the sink is a terrible design as it uses a flexible pipe that is made out of the cheapest quality plastic known to mankind. as a result they all split open and it's a very tricky fix. worse still is that it often goes unnoticed
@andyglawe78043 жыл бұрын
Great video as always. I have a Knaus Live I and one thing that Knaus are keen to stress with their payload calculation is the MIRO includes a full water tank, full diesel tank, driver, 1 gas bottle and a full boiler. So if the payload on this is 450kg and you have another passenger plus a Honda 600 for example (200kg) then remaining payload would be 175kg. If you then add everything else in you will probably have about 50kg left. Not great but worth bearing in mind.

Nice van with some clever design touches. The 140 Bhp engine is same as mine - plenty of power for up to or slightly over 3,500 kg (as tested with the heavier Lyseo up and down Llanberis Pass!). Love the fresh and waste control valves, obviating the need to crouch down to release the waste water. Same kitchen tap as my Lyseo 690G I think? Classic layout, and the campervan style kitchen worktop and drawers are well designed. I wish Bürstner had kept the continental drawers instead of the tiny oven fort he UK market which I will probably only ever use as a storage locker ;-)

I am smiling!! It turns out that Andrew has not actually grown up at all, the haloo moments still exist. That was a very nice van for its size (albeit the space into which the lavatory is crammed looks very uncomfortable) but I wish that a manual gearbox was available on this side of the pond. All we get are the made to break CVTs. Overengineered and under-constructed. Dougal was being a good boy, waiting for his reward later, whether that is food or a play session.

I even threw in an innuendo for you as well! NEVER grow up! :)

iNet box is great for turning the heating and hot water on from bed. It also monitors the temperature inside your vehicle and warns you by sms when it freezes, so you can remotely turn the heating on to protect the water pipes.

Yes, I like this one! Thanks for a cracking video Andrew! I love the innovative models that have great uses of space & the sliding sink is a good example! Is this the last one from the show?! Always loads of new ideas as well as the recognisable models but improved! Take care on the road, eager to see your first loan MH! Sending love xxx 🥰💕🐕

Dougal looked very dubious. But you did get a kiss. So long as he can be with you, he's a happy dog. The van is as you noted, pretty typical for Europe. I wish they were more common here in America. At an affordable price. So the Euro style vans have lots of expensive add ons that make them very expensive. Mercedes Benz chassis, solid surface counters, leather seats, high end cabinets. In a van.
@meanqueensuperscrimper89083 жыл бұрын
The seats never look comfortable in these new vans. Not practical either in their light colours. Dougal is a sweetheart, I wish I was there to look after him while you are at work. Best wishes. ilona

I have a dometic toilet and I haven’t had any problems with it yet. I find the cassette a bit small for 2 adults and have to empty it every day as it is a chore to empty when it is full, as there is no handle on the end to tip it (and push the air button). As far as I can see, it seems very similar to the Thetford.

I guess they use 600 because you have about 6m of inside space. If you look at the outside, from the moment you go longer than 6m you can see the orange lights on the side, I don't know whether they are used on shorter ones, certainly not on vans. Also I haven't yet seen a model with beds in that configuration in a real 6m motorhome, maybe that will change if new base vehicles could be used from Arrival for example (to link GB). Looking at the specs I guess the payload is for the base vehicle and not as presented, although I haven't checked. I do remember it wasn't always that easy to see. Talking about the toilet, we have a very similar one without problems, of course you have to use it like you should. I guess that you can be pretty confident if larger brands use a certain type of toilet. Best tip I had concerning the toilet: go sit on in and see whether it is comfortable before you buy any motorhome (if not, don't buy that model). Also nothing wrong with asking to show how a type you don't know works. I do like the fact that you have most things like, water, electricity, drain taps together, although it seems you can't fill up the water tank that easy, maybe I am wrong, but what if you are little late closing the water tap when the tank is full, does the water flow inside or is there a way it can flow away outside? With a filling point on the outside it just flows along the side of the motorhome, but that isn't the case here. Thanks for the reviews, I really much like them and certainly take the time to watch them all! I'm pretty sure I'll buy you a coffee.. but maybe not at 4:15AM ;-)

Now a big dilemma - I was thinking of downsizing from a Rapido 866F to a panel van conversion with the Rapido Dreamer D68 or Adria Twin 640SLB on my shortlist, but this adds an interesting additional option! It’s a shame the caravan and motorhome has been cancelled as there are no stock at dealerships to view. From these 3 - any preference Andrew? Love the reviews and Dougal’s inputs 😁 From my point of view I think your reviews are the best - interesting, witty and cover all I’d like to see and hear 👍

Cheers Tony! I'd not like to recommend one above the other simply because it's about your needs, not the van.

Do you know if this brand or vehicle is available in the United States I can't seem to find the answer online
@andrewjditton2 жыл бұрын
I have a feeling the answer is no, unless you can find a specialist European importer. But then the cost of making it US-road legal might be prohibitive. Sorry I can't be more help.

I agree... it's daft to call it a 600 at 6.75M. I own a Swift Bolero 680fb yet it's 7 metres. Calling it a Swift Bolero 700fb seemed to be a bridge too far for the manufacturer!

This is a perfect motorhome for the American market 👌 but why can't Americans find them here in the states?
@YT-MY3 жыл бұрын
Wish we had models like this in the US. Nothing close to this efficient size and price. There must be some hidden cost, like VAT tax, to explain the 65k euro price. I hope Hymer US will get similar models available in US, they would be a big hit, especially if under $100k. Like the clean out access for the fresh water and front window shades. Would maximize the flat roof area for solar panels, delete the sat dish and middle hatch. Push the other vents closer to edges. Could have a fixed narrow horizontal window in the back for all around views.

If it was a US market unit they'd be sued by every boffin out there if they rounded up and called it a 700. Safer to under promise and over deliver. But in the US market numbers in model names have no relation to exterior length.
