Weird Al crushes this cover, if anything he's just gotten better at it over the years. The opening joke were he doesn't say what Elvis is funny, you can hear the EC fans in the audience start hollering when he mentions My Aim Is True, and then after a second everyone else gets the joke as well

My band was playing "Radio Radio" back in 1980-82. Once you saw Elvis on SNL, you just had to play this great anthem!

You can tell that even Weird Al gets old by the fact that he performs sitting down.

The sitting down was just to emphasize the stripped down "lower your expectations" theme of the tour. The merch shirts even advertised "five old guys sitting on stools." But during the Strings Attached tour the year after this, Al was back to being his normal high kicking hyper self.
