Yes! A lot of cars, back in those days had left/ right hand thread fir the lug nuts for safety. If the lugs nuts were loose, they'd never self- spin off... Try this: with the car, '59 Dodge driver's side wheels off the ground, with the lug nut loose, hold the lug nut and rotate the wheel in the direction it would normally rotate while driving. It will tighten.

1. You must be planning a lift(s) or else you would have purchased an oil catch container that's 5+ feet tall. 2. Yes, goggles are essential. I had a metal splinter get impaled into my eye 40 years ago when I failed to understand the necessity of good goggles. Even today, there is a small rusty bump, luckily away from the lens, where the shrapnel landed. It hurt like hell for weeks before it finally encysted over. 3. Latex or non-allergenic type gloves for dirty, greasy jobs and split leather gloves, at the very least, if you are working with sharp surfaces. 4. Old brake shoes and clutches may contain asbestosis. Mesothelioma isn't the sort of breathtaking automotive repairs you want to do and you'll have better protection against COVID-19 wearing a mask. 5. Make your Coronet a memorable one of a kind -- install the tall rear spoiler from a 1969-70 era Dodge Daytona. 6. Other than using oil dry as needed, forget keeping your garage floor clean unless you want to pay really good money for a high-end sealer that will really bust your ass when you slip on it.

Originally the left handed threads on the left side, theory has it at the time, that inertia and centrifugal forces would keep the left side rotating masses fasteners tight as the car rolled fwd. That practice was finally outdated by 1971 or so on most if not all Chrysler products.. FYI

You show Weird Beard a lot of love. Nice to see people respect each other especially when it comes to business. I think it’s only right though he offers your lift back to you if he is not using it or haven’t installed it yet. I think it’s only fair. That’s what I would do if some one gave me something due to unfortunate circumstances especially if I have not been making use of it. You have a place for it now and it just seems like the right thing to do. Any how....Congrats on everything and I’m sure it will work out for you as it always has

I've driven many cars with all wheel drum brakes (driving since 1975), and I would say almost all of them worked very well, if not great- except if they got too wet, like after going through a big puddle. A dual reservoir M/C swap should be on your to-do list though.

Randy; got to 15.00 on this video, and had to stop !!!!!!! Are you trying to blind yourself ????? Grinding that brake hose on your lap without even safety glasses; you're asking to get metal filings into your unprotected eyes !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please put the grinder in a secure vice fitted onto a stable work=bench, and ALWAYS, ALWAYS wear safety glasses. PLEASE. Stay safe, please. And now I can return to watch the remainder of the video, hopefully with you remaining safe.
