I have a skittish and easily overstimulated friend like that. She goes on her best behavior if any other cats get nice petting. Then she wants the same and gets jealous of them. I think she decided you saved her from the dog and that changed her mood. It'll go back if you see her tomorrow lol

Nothing weird about the cat. She is a homeless cat who has nobody, hungry, thirsty all by herself trying to survive on the streets, fighting with the elements and all kinds of danger and we expect them to be little sweet angels, ready to be petted and played with whenever we like? Really? I don't think so (plus who really is weird in this scenario?)

Exactly. There's nothing weird about that cat. It just isn't comfortable with human touch, and I think that should be respected. I love how much this guy helps the stray cats, as I have seen many of his other videos, but some cats are just skittish and need to be given as much time as they need before they are touched and/or petted. One of my favorite cats, who's partially socialized is very skittish and scared, and it took her a whole year to allow me to touch her and pet her, and I don't think that's really all that unusual with the strays/semi-feral cats.
