Ok Emmy telling Darrian to calm down and the sudden change in attitude he had I think is genuinely the most horrified I’ve felt in this show Anyone can burn down an orphanage (*Ava*) but commanding a normal person and basically overwriting their mental state is truly terrifying to me

Disclaimer: I do this in a kind of commentator notes format so pardon the mess and any spoilers. Man all the times Ava messy crits on feeding. Man the rest of the coterie called it so right that Ava doesn't like the Witch because she called her out. I was expecting associated with Layla after the last vision, but ghoul makes sense as option 2. Honestly its surprising nobody has tried to burn down that cabin. This Darren bit is rather off as the coterie already abducted him once and he was being guarded by one of Layla's normal hunters, before letting Darren go. You're really letting Emi push what Dominate can do, as calming somebody down is emotional manipulation. Unless Stich or the Gangrel are Lower than Gen 9 Grant would still be BP 1, so I'm not sure how this hasn't been explained to a two decade old kindred that Lower Gen doesn't always mean higher BP. Well the coterie has a hermit crab now.

I know they met Darren in season 2 but it had such a minimal impact on the story i can disregard it

again they forget their own story. Bub and I think Dakota visited Darien the author during season 2. must be a side effect from playing too many characters and games

That is a problem with a lot of actual plays that are more than streaming their weekly sessions. Plus this one has been going on so long and for so many episodes you can understand. Not to mention each season of this Chronicle is about as long as many other entire chronicles. Its also an issue of Mathas being a good from the top of his head/improv ST/GM rather than having developed ST/GM notes they can refer back to.
