The strangest thing I can think of was the time Todd Szegedy was qualifying at Chicagoland Speedway and had to dodge a giant inflatable Tropicana orange that had blown onto the track.

The ones that took me a shock this year are Chris Buescher’s flip at Charlotte and the awful Texas All-Star race ending where Ryan Blaney and his crew celebrated too early when a caution came out for Ricky Stenhouse Jr getting into the wall.

Weird Moment From Keselowski: He Spun on Pit Road and backwards on his pit stall but still did the pit stop normally.

My favorite Nascar Driver, Ty Dillon, had a weird situation at New Hampshire in 2018. Before the race even started Ty pulled into pit road and a crew member jumped into the passenger side window with his feet hanging out. It was later said that Ty’s water bottle fell and was rolling around on the floor.

I was at that Charlotte race when the cable fell. Actually happened in our section. I was getting more drinks and I saw the paramedics heading to the stands. Luckily the guy wasn’t hurt bad.

A quick note on that last one, that race became the last caution-free race in NASCAR so the pre-race incident between the 6 and 48 was actually the only incident of the day.

If you though a flip at charlotte motor speedway was weird, here’s a flip even weirder. In 1988, Rusty Wallace actually flipped at Bristol I think it was because he hit the turn 4 wall so hard that it was enough to flip his car.

1:32 hey I got a moment in time that this happened. 2011 Coke 600 when Mark Martin and David Gilliland got hooked together in the left and right fronts. It was a bizarre incident and took a few laps under caution to pull them apart. At least with Matt DiBenedetto and Austin Wayne Self the contact didn't cause a crash. Mark and David got hooked in the middle of 3 and 4 which caused them and Newman to slam the wall hard.

God I knew that Charlotte was gonna be in this- I’m a inside man who works at Charlotte, there isn’t a drain where Chris flipped, the running theory I am sticking to is that his wheel came off, since NASCAR is having the wheels tethered to the car, it got sucked under his car and caused him to flip (Side note: maybe there is a drain there- I don’t remember-)

There was a Cup race at Talladega in the mid to late 1980's where a random drunk fan stole the pace car and the cops pursued him in a high speed chase around the track. Not joking. Look it up. There's great footage of it.

2 separate times during a 4 (6?) car crash, 2 FIA F3 cars got stuck together in Monaco this year, like your clip of the trucks! One car had it's front-left stuck in another's rear left, and the other had it's front nosecone stuffed into the other's rear crash structure and they had to be lifted out together

The oddest thing that happened to my favorite driver happened in 1964. In the World 600 at Charlotte, Fireball Roberts spun trying to avoid a collision. The back end of his car hit the wall, and the gas tank ruptured. The the weird thing is that his car flipped onto it's roof after hitting the wall with his backend.
