Thank you guys! I'm a big fan of Arturia, and I was thinking about getting Augmented Piano I wasn't convinced at initial presentation cause my eyes was on Minifreak. Politemike, you’re an inspiration mate. Your playing is unbelievably beautiful and balanced with Jacks humour (and talent in his own right) makes me want to watch these videos over again. Noire is surreal. Love it. Mike P v D Bingas play off, bring it on!!! They bring their 3 favourite patches/keys and let ‘em at it (hopefully Nord Grand felt one of them) Can’t wait.

I have both and Noire is certainly the more creatively intuitive, and has many more rabbit holes to wander down compared to AP. That said, I don't think AP is trying to be the same sort of animal. You have to give up a degree of control with it, and just roll with the weird and wacky places it will take you. Downside for me with AP is the interface. At face value you have few meaningful controls. If you want to really get into the sound design, then you're menu diving. Noire just lays it all out for you across just a few tabs. Both cool though. Oh and MP can come back whenever he frickin' wants. Proper Dude, proper skills.

In general it is clear: Analog Lab has just better ePianos and old synth options and native instruments is more the platform for real instruments. Oh yeah and I love the Noir. But I can't play piano ..😥
