Sometimes prison is not the answer, and the judge may offer a different, more creative penalty for the guilty party to pay. In today's video we are looking at some of the weirdest punishments instead of being sent to prison.

While not really public shaming, in my state, there was a poacher. He was sentenced to two years in jail, and during those two years, he was forced to watch Bambi once a month.

@@trigger_once Ohio judges just do this a lot, it's easy to find news stories about Ohio judges doing this. Living in Ohio I see these punishments in the newspaper almost weekly and I should also mention it works. That one judge (Micheal) has a repeat offender rate WAY lower than the national average. He's the one who gave other Ohio judges the idea to do weird punishments on the regular. Unfortunately he retired this year.

Concerning the couple in Houston, TX that embezzled $250k from the crime victims’ fund- I recall seeing the man carrying that thief sign near my bus stop in the Galleria area. There was always an officer parked up right behind him making sure he wasn’t going anywhere. I always was curious, but didn’t have the courage to talk to him considering the cop was right there staring him down. Welp, now I know! 😅
