In my opinion, this is not weird. I'm reading a book right now about an African group of people where the men and women have separate sleeping quarters. Another woman I worked with, she and her husband slept in different rooms because he snored very loud but they got along. I'm not going to lie..I'm the same way..the next female i live with we're definitely getting separated rooms....I've lived with a female for six years..relationships get old because we're around each other 24/7..alot of yall Don't want to admit it but being in the same room..looking at ya partners naked body every day..there's no anticipation/excitement when they get naked anymore..u probably see them naked three times a day....them farting in the sheets 😁..hogging up the bed..hogging the t v..waking you up because they're up..lets not talk about the stuff they do in the bathroom around that time of the month that stuff gets old real quick.."distance/ absence makes the heart grow fonder"..that quote is true🤷‍♂️

I don't have a problem with her having a different bedroom. She wants her own space and so do I. Also I believe in keeping Torah and one of the laws states a woman must be separate during her monthly time so it just makes sense that she have her own space.
