In this Slay the Spire gameplay, Baalorlord does an Ascension 20 run with Silent. First, he gives tips on choosing a path and a starting bonus. Later on, he explains his decision for each card he chooses and why it's important to the build. Towards the end, he gears up for an epic Heart fight you don't want to miss. Poison Stab is great when you have Envenom and Sadistic Nature in play, because the attack counts as two separate applications of poison.

Great may be pushing it. For 3 cards you have 19 damage and 4 poisons. Replace PS by Blade Dance and its 27 damages and 3 poisons. Blade is more front load ans better scaling than Poison Stab. Still good but rare to assemble early on.

I like PS because its not a dead card vs sentries like pure poison, and doesnt trigger Nob like blade dance tho​@redford4ever

Honestly kind of soothing to be here after watching some of elden ring’s dlc- too many streamers seem angry at the existence of their viewers, and it’s nice to land somewhere where the stream is cozy and informative about the game

I know you hate the card, but with Specimen and Envenom, Dagger Spray has great synergy. 8/12 damage + 2 poison per critter that gets passed around, and also breaks artifact on Sentries and such. It gets even nicer with Sneko Skull.

Baalorlord, may I ask if you're color blind? There's a lot of times (like @ 51:33 ) where a critter has lethal poison showing on their HP bar, and you play the turn out anyway. You've mentioned the rounding on the corners of the types of cards being good User Design, so I'm surprised that this detail escapes your notice. I was wondering if you are Red/Green colorblind.

good enemy design: they arent made to kill you time eater was made to KILL you negative card draw, put a bunch of slimes into your deck, stop you from playing cards, and attack you for 1 billion (good luck blocking with negative card draw, slimes in your deck, and the dogshiit clock that stops you from playing the game)
