I have never heard that term. My Chinese and Indian friends just always said that was the stereotypical Asian mom. Then again as tigers are Asian perhaps that's where it comes from. Also it sounds like a very American term, a bit like Soccer Mom. I never really experienced that labelling of a type of Mom in the UK.

My top 3 Dreamcast games: Shenmue, Grandia 2 and this one. To get past the fans just wait until your pretty close to the door, then jump and attack to launch past the fans before they activate again. When you beat all three races on a specific course you get to race Hanamizu. ( Hes much faster than the other Pen Pens) Infogrames had some great games released for the Dreamcast.

One of my irrelevant skills is that i can beat every level of this game the first time and have different tricks to move significantly faster in each portion of the tri icelon. I Was able to flex it once when we dug out the Dreamcast 5 years back and a bunch of friends were over and watched me succeed thoroughly, a high point for me lol.

One of my favorite Dreamcast games, its easy to play and has a boss (the snot-nose guy) to race after beating the 3 courses on each map. Its a hidden gem for sure.
