It's small but one of my favorite parts of the Pinklestia commercial is that they have a pretty decently animated Princess Celestia fly at the beginning of it, blatantly showing to even people unfamiliar with the show that the character is not supposed to be pink.

The ancient commercials such as twilight’s balloon and pink Celestia always make me smile looking back due to how young I was when they first came out. I’m sure Pop Ponies had their 15 minutes of fame when all the big toy channels were reviewing them and then everyone forgot about them for good, still makes me cringe looking back- Either way, it’s been great reminiscing! :) P.s thank you so much for sharing that pepe commercial I’m gonna enjoy it forever

I used to buy the toys. I had the mane 6+ the princesses + shining armor + the CMC of the main toys, the blind bags, and what was available at BAB Workshop. Now I'm 26 years old and making my own MLP plushies, several which are life sized. And despite all my obsession... I can't recall a single one of these commercials.

Mega nostalgia. I remember seeing those commercials all the time back then while I was watching TV. I always thought they were cringy because I never watched FiM myself. I probably watched one or two episodes after switching to the hub before. I could’ve sworn once I was playing Super Stickman Golf (2011) multiplayer with my friends and hearing a MLP commercial come on the TV and one of my friends just yell out “WHERE’S DERPY?” It may of been a weird dream or it actually happened. All I remember is that I was playing SSG Multiplayer.

I started buying MLP toys having watched MLP parodies on KZbin, then clips of MLP:FiM itself. I remember seeing adverts for MLP G3 toys on TV when I was about 7, and seeing them atvthe time and also watchingbthem again 19 years later, I’d say they were pretty bog-standard toy adverts for the time. The one that really takes the biscuit for me is that Pinklestia toy - not so much the fact that she’s pink, but mostly because the things she says are completely out of character!
