Fun Fact! Deers actually regularly consume bones, as do most herbivours animals on occasion. It's called osteophagy, and though it may seem weird, herbivores are just like us in that they need certain essential minerals and vitamins, and because of their herbivorous diet, they tend to lack these, so these animals will consume bones to get things like calcium and phosphorous in their diet. So it make **look** strange, but it's really just a normal facet of nature.

They talk about them in true crime shows. There's an episode where people started finding heads and arms and stuff and thought it was a serial killer but turned out to be a body farm but the bodies are supposed to be whole and not dismembered. I think the old man who used to run the body farm was caught doing something fishy but I watch so much content it's hard to keep stories straight sometimes and I can't remember the specifics

I also learned a lot about them in forensics! There's a lot of complex stuff that can be learned, bodies can even be dated extremely accurately by looking at the life cycle stage that the insect species present are in! It is a bit grotesque, but if a loved one of mine was found dead I'd want to know how long they were there for It's basically just a large area of land where bodies are buried in different conditions like depth, different soil, temperatures, buried in nothing vs in bags etc to study the different conditions bodies cld be found in I'm not sure what applications it has outside of forensics

Cats can walk on their back legs a bit! I have two cats and when they're playing or wanting attention, they will stand on their back legs and they can move a bit on them. One of my cats can't really walk on them, but she does do body rolls and get excited sometimes when I stand up and want her little head rubbed. She knows that I can't reach her otherwise, so she stands on her back legs next to me and does her little dance while I rub her little head. My cats can't walk on their back legs well, but I have seen cats that have been trained to walk on their back legs. So it is possible, but with training. And also maybe different cats. Edit: as a wheelchair user, I think that ramp would make me fly?! Don't ask me how I'd get up to the top to go down tho, especially because I freak out going up streep ramps because sometimes it feels like falling backwards and that is a scary fear!!!

Body farms or decomp facilities are weird in concept but you would expect they would be far away from civilization, right? Well the University of Knoxville has a body farm under their football stadium. My university literally has dead bodies they put in different scenarios and watch them decompose right across the highway. Pretty... weird... some may say

Deer/herbivores will chew on bones when low on calcium. It isn't unusual at all just uncommon to actually carch on camera. Fun fact for ya. Horses are also known to eat chicks when low on Calcium or other nutrients. Same for other herbivores!

As someone who is interested in the macabre and I'm in a decomp group and a beauty of the dead group and I'm also super into nature, I don't find the deer chewing on bones odd at all. Deer eat rodents and other meats when they can get them. They gnaw on their own antler sheds too. That's why some areas have restrictions on picking up bones and antlers because not only the deer but wolves also get calcium from chewing on them.
