THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO!!! I have a very similar Weiser on my front door. Just rekeyed it with your help! Your video was the only information I could find on the proper way to disassemble and reassemble the mechanism. I’m pretty mechanical, but I can easily see how I might have made some big no-no’s without watching this first!!!

Thank you for this video. I actually had a customer bring one of these in to have a key made for it. I was able to take it apart and make the key with no issues from watching this video months prior to the customer.

Thanks for this! I had already taken the entire mechanism apart to clean it and couldn't figure out how the heck to get it back together.

Thank you for making this video. It was just what we needed to feel brave enough to help my parents, both in their 80's, make their front door function again!

Seen one of these at our local church, and always wondered how it looked on the inside in case I needed to do some work on it. Luckily it’s on the inside of a vestibule so it’s not exposed to -40 degree winds, so it still operates smoothly

I love these videos. Thank you for the great info! I'd say you should have been a teacher but you obviously found your calling as a locksmith. I'm just happy you are willing to do both!

Always enjoy all the information you share. Most would just sell them a new one. Thanks Jason.

Thank you for sharing all the wonderful information with us, I would have taken the whole thing apart (and probably lost some of the parts) before I found the problem.

Lot of work for a rekey. The screws should have a mark for which take the module out and which take it apart,

Any chance you have a schematic on how the mechanism goes together? Or any resources on that information?
@selock5 жыл бұрын
No, its best not to take the mechanism apart unless really really required.

@@selock right! We received one in pieces, and my coworkers are trying to piece it together.
