Welches, Oregon | 4k Driving Tour | Dashcam | Zig Zag, Rhododendron, Mt Hood

Welches is an unincorporated community in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States. It is located within the Mount Hood Corridor between Zigzag and Wemme along U.S. Route 26. It is one of the many communities that make up the Villages at Mount Hood.

I went to oregon on june 2022 with friends and stayed at a airbnb down the street from the zigzag restaurant I miss oregon so much hopefully I go again this year thank you for the video it brought back beautiful memories.

When I was in highschool, I lived in welches for about a year. Beautiful hiking all around. Salmon briber trailhead was one of my more favorite spots. Later was even a firefighter for a time living in the government camp fire station. Different world in that whole area for sure.

I debated for a while over choosing whether I'd want the San Diego outskirts or the Cascadian PNW to be where I put down roots for a possibly permanent residence. I lived in Vegas and definitely felt stranded but didn't think SoCal would make you feel that way too, but I kinda see what you mean. The PNW just seems more like a place where people can lead a peaceful and fulfilling life.
