I'll never forget driving these wintry roads in a 1960s Chevrolet with my Upepo bandmates. It was truly a winter wonderland, all the while the music of Nino Rota playing on the car's tape player. One of those moments we might call sublime.

i was a mgr there for 12 years. i snowboard all the time for 17 years etc. stayed in the lodge like 30 times. overnight. all our company parties up there. so many good times. i did a zombie snowboarding video there. a bigfoot snowboarding video there. so much fun stuff. the lodge caught on fire last night. 5 towns had to help put it out. gresham. sandy and all hoodland fire fighters. it was all over the news last night.

@@TheOutdoorsMeGee everyone was evacuated to the day lodge. i just saw all the news. i lived on hood in govt camp o the govt camp loop for 15 years. was a teimberline mgr for 12 of those years. i left oregon 3 years ago

Truck camper for sure. There isn't much room up there to parks close anyways. An if its winter probably a bit hairy

Oh MAN!!! What A BEAUTIFUL PLACE!!!!! I remembered to go back in time to see your older uploads like you suggested!! I guess didn't realize you had these. Haha! When you 'Sno- Coned' your mug, I instantly thought of the 'Johnny' seen outside in the maze..grunting.." WEENDDEEEE?!!! Wow!! I didn't know they need this particular lodge for the outside, thought it was a real one in Colorado or somewhere..who kniws, so long ago. I love that movie though, and book.
