The guy playing Carvelli (Charles Fleisher) did a lot of comedy work and did a great job, years later, in voicing "Roger Rabbit" in "Who framed Roger Rabbit". He's in his 60s now and still just as active and comical.

@garypeacock951
@garypeacock951 4 жыл бұрын
Rich Rome: So many plot lines could have been followed. But, it was decided early on that the four guys would command the story lines; hence, the females, Debra Lee Scott and Vernae Watson, were written out soon enough. This corresponded with the dismissal of the husband/wife writing team, Jewel and Jerry Rannow, who’d fashioned the first half of season one, when there seemed to be a sense of continuity and character revelation. John was being groomed for stardom by his handlers and his departure eventually led to a mush-mash of “fun for fun’s sake” script material from the typewriters of new writers most all of the time. Hey, it stayed popular enough to get five seasons. And when sold for syndication following season one, it topped Happy Days, I was told.

The show aired on Prime TV, which was a Canadian TV network that aired shows from the 60's to the 80's. "Kotter", "Barney Miller", "The Golden Girls", "Three's Company", "The Cosby Show", they even aired "The Price is Right" when Bob Barker was hosting. It was later rebranded as TVTROPOLIS in 2006, then became DTour in 2013.
