Happy to see you back! Good luck with the land buying. I've been looking in NC (for land, I want to retire in the mountains there) and it's not terribly priced. The economy is looking like it may crash if you save up and get your credit in order in a few years you may find some great foreclosures on the market for dirt cheap.

Those computers were likely owned by a large company, used them briefly and then upgraded and the guy bought them to resell them. It probably never had a problem so it's a good buy if it does what you need. Glad to see you back!

It varies a lot but 10k for an acre. I found 2.3 acres in my town for 34k. You can find plots of 5-7 acres for 40-60k. Looking to stay under 35k. So 3-4 acres of wooded land would be ideal.

Tiny House Customs I know this was a while ago, but look in the Roanoke VA area. No problem getting work if you want it...trade work here is always short handed. As an old lady who needs manual labor help (and is willing to pay a good wage for it) I can tell you that you will never be wanting for a job. I can’t find decent workers. They do crap work, or want to charge a freaking fortune. One man quoted me $240,000 for fencing for 2 acres!! My son said, “holy shit! You could buy the dog it’s own house for that!” Most people are not that insane, lol! The folks are nice, area offers a lot when we aren’t Coviding. Living costs are good, too.

I'll try and help you with the processor (cpu) side of a computer (intel processors) i3 (More suited to office applications, web browsing lighter loads) i5 (Gaming, multimedia applications and has more cores/brains than i3) i7 (Heavier tasks, video and photo editing, gaming, generally same cores/brains as i5) This is normally followed by a four digit number. E.g. i7 7600 (Ignore the last 3 numbers). The first one tells you the generation of the cpu, so this would be a 7th generation. An i3 5010 tells you it's a 5th generation i3 processor/ cpu. (Higher the number the better) Then the last and most important part is the processor type. Y= Ultra ultra low power (no fan cooling required) U= Cheaper/ low powered cpu (does need a fan, not for video editing) HQ (or just H)= Upper mid range (3x more power hungry than a U processor (sweet spot for video editing) HK= Lots of power (stupidly expensive) To sum up, just because two different processesors/cpu's say it's an i7, don't think it's the same. E.g. An Intel i7 5500U is a lot slower and older (5th generation, low power) than a i7 8750H (8th generation, more power hungry)
