Alhumdullilah Roots is such an amazing place. May Allah reward Brother AbdelRahman Murphy and everyone involved for developing this space. I pray more communities build similar spaces all over North America

@ISNA, why not we do some of these types of community building in Canada 🇨🇦. Our masajid has major focus on prayer, and, madrasa. One seminar here, another seminar there. Not much, around community building activities. I personally went to 3 of our local masjid to share some ideas of creating community space where outside of prayer, other activities takes place. But they flat out disregard. Since you have solid foundations, why not start something? Jazak Allah

If you are ever in the US go visit Dallas and check this out on a Monday or Tuesday night. Mashallah the athmosphere is incredible, you won’t see that many young Muslims in one place for a righteous cause regularly anywhere else

I was in Dallas a few weeks ago (and will be moving soon iA), I visited Roots the 4/7 days I was in town and SubuhanAllah my heart has felt at peace in this community. May Allah reward the lecturers, & everyone that made this space feel like home to me. 🤍
