Gonna put my two sense in: Frank going from “Mr. Dear" to "Eddie" SCREAMS of a closeted gay relationship. Like, he calls him "Mr. Dear" in public so people don't think they're too close, but the minute he sees that Eddie's distressed, his worried husband instincts kick in and the mask slips just enough to try to snap Eddie out of it. But you also can tell he's still trying to keep the front up because he's almost whispering Eddie's name. Clown's already said that homophobia is gonna be a major theme in Welcome Home, and this really feels like our first big taste of it.

I have a feeling that what happened to Eddie at the end of the commercials video happens to Wally all the time. When Eddie is given time to just exist and not speak or act, the world around him starts to change and break. The only thing that snaps him out of this fugue state is his name. Just like Wally. I believe that in order for the illusion to continue, they have to participate and act accordingly to their character.

With Eddie's scene and Wallys rendition of Toyland (a song about leaving behind the joys of childhood)... I think I'm staring to piece something together. What if Wally disassociated so much that he completely lost connection with the Neighborhood? What if he disassociated at night when he was alone inside Home, so there was nobody around to say his name. "It's so quiet." What could Eddie hear when he was trapped? Nothing but lonely silence. How has he and Wally been woken up? Hearing their names spoken out loud.

Something really sad I saw at 2:55:19, is that if you look closely under Eddie’s hands, you can see a sheet or two of paper where several games of tic-tac-toe was played. Now look at the score tallys. They both have “E” above them and Eddie’s the only neighbour with his name beginning with an E. …PLEASE DON’T TELL ME HE PLAYED TIC-TAC-TOE WITH HIMSELF BECAUSE HE WAS *THAT* LONELY-

When you microwave a hot dog the fast amount of heat building up makes the hotdog expand and explode. Why is this holiday called a Home Warming? I feel like this is one of many ways each character will meet their fate. But first they will disassociate and witness the truth on their own.

THIS WAS SO SCARY I WAS JUST LIKE "WHAT DID YOU DO WHY- WHAT IS THISS!!?", I WASNT EXPECTING ANY FOCUS ON EDDIE WHATSOEVER HERE! But the slow descent into just being frustrated with being on his own with nothing to do building up to everything being like "HEY PEEP THE HORRORS REAL QUICK!" was so intense GOSH I cant even fathom what happens next and I'm glad to see I wasn't the only WORRIED AND SHOCKED PERSON, CLOWN WHAT ARE YOU COOKING UP IN THE SPOOKY KITCHEN???

Omg wait. The audio from the phone call of Wally, this essentially happens right before the audio of Wally and barnaby trying to find how to make home happy for home warming. So maybe this could be overlapping in exactly how the events of how this show disappeared from time and they’re just now discovering it again?? 👀 Edit: that’s just a theory, but it hit me as I was rewatching the stream

*sobs and blubbers* WHY DID THIS UPDATE BREAK US ALLLL!!! I have so many thoughts and theories on this from Howdy's family names not being their actual names, those pills being used to keep Wally sleepy/complacent, and Eddie, oh my sweet Cinnamon Roll man you did NOT deserve this!! If Eddie and Frank are in a secret relationship I am so happy or if this is at a point before they are dating and/or living together(maybe maybe not married just yet) and they are just close friends(which yeah it doesn't seem that way after seeing this torturous sadness again and again). I want to know WHY Eddie broke through? Was it his emotions, or his role as you said of being a hard working "Stretched-Thin" mailman? Is Frank also in the same boat as Eddie being that he knows what's really going on or was Eddie the First besides Wally and has seen through the facade and veil of the reality HE only knew and now sees what is true? I hope Eddie comes back for at least ONE more Update but is pushing himself so hard at his job and playing by his role, keeping on script so what he saw doesn't happen again. Then his final breaking point, what makes him leave, is Mother's Day comes around and Eddie realizes that he can't send a gift to his mom because he doesn't remember anything but her voice(as apparently her voice was recorded on a phone call). Also when he whispers how he wants/needs to go home, what if that's not the post office or his and Frank's house IF they are a couple what if it's his home where he lived before Home? Also if Poppy IS the next to go(which she'd BETTER NOT BE) if you look at the toys in the Wish Book, all that are directly connected to Poppy are so low compared to everyone else's. In universe yeah this...this might be her leaving....*sobs and cries harder* #JusticeForEddieDear Also I don't think that they would kick Eddie out for being gay because unless these are sentient puppets and Eddie was actually showing deeper feelings towards Frank, in the show he would have been written to not be gay. Winter Intermission feels like Frank knows that they are all puppets and that when Christmas hits the studio will be on break, thus an intermission for the puppets. They won't move throughout the neighborhood but be trapped in their homes. Okay that's all I am breaking again from seeing this update. Thank you for covering this.

@@AlleyDreamer Well we know Julie, Howdy, and Barnaby have their families and talk highly about them, or somewhat highly in Howdy's case. Yeah I feel the worst for Eddie because even Frank, Wally and Sally might remember their family but poor Eddie, as far as we know he can't even remember any names and it's only because his mom's voice is on a phone recording that he may only know her by her voice but not looks or name. I am gonna start crying again now.
