Welcome to Center for Tanakh Based Studies' Monday morning "On the lighter side". In this clip Atkinson plays the roll of the devil and welcomes a variety of newcomers to hell. You can guess what type of people you’d find there. You have your standard assortment of violent offenders and criminals, but Atkinson throws out a few hilarious surprises.

There is no Satan in the Hebrew Bible (Tanakh) except for 3 insignificant mentions of a foreign idol. Satan plays no role in the construction of the Jewish faith.

Who taught you that? There are several references to hasatan and HaSatan. HaSatan is specifically mentioned as an angel of HaShem's Celestial Court. HaSatan is charged with sorting out the hypocrites from those who are righteous. The Christian concept of Satan as being an evil spirit in rebellion to HaShem is a pagan concept they borrowed from the Babylonians and Persians.

@MrGiddeonn really? Then exactly, who is HaSatan as written in the Book of Job? I do agree that the Christian concept of Satan is pagan but so is their three-in-one deity. Christians are dualistic. So, if your point was that Christians are dualistic idolatrous pagans, you'd be correct.
