You are wrong. There’s still manufacturing here. PB&S was sold not long after this video to Brenntag and still is here. Firestone is Accuride and still here, even after they locked out the UAW workers… Now Gamco and Vincent are out of business because of the recession around 08-10.

This is so funny. Unfortunately, Henderson hasn't turned out to be as great as predicted. Most of the factories have shut down, people have lost jobs, and it's impossible to find new ones unless u wanna flip a burger. But we have some of the most expensive bird statues in the world....woo hoo.

As much as homesickness sets in I question what would be missed at this point. Besides Audubon Park and the downtown riverfront, there's not much to do. Looked lively back then, not so much now.

There’s still quite a few jobs left here, even though I make my living in Princeton, IN. Some places in Henderson county were not named in the video. Y’all are making it out like it’s in eastern Kentucky or something.

Henderson looked more productive and inviting back then than it does now. A huge chunk of businesses and factories are gone.

If you count the other counties, plus southern IN, there is quite a few jobs in this area for being mostly rural/small towns. Still have three paper mills, plus two aluminium smelters, a tad bit of coal mining, machine shops, etc.

The drive in closed , a smelter may close, banks have closed as well as many buisinesses in this video. You can't swim in Audubon Parks lake, the hospital got bigger. Ben Franklin and Jj Newberry are gone. This video holds old memories. By the way, companies don't care about their employees.
