I'm Wilma Chandler's granddaughter. She passed in August 2022 and from time to time I come back to see and hear my Grandma again. Thank you!

We just bought a home here and will begin renovations. We are so excited to move here. We absolutely love the story and rich history Lake Placid offers. Feeling so blessed. We apologize we were unable to make the picnic today but looking forward to future gatherings and meeting you all!

Incredible! i grew up vacationing in the Ozarks but never realized there was an area owned by and designated for us indigenous people-i absolutely will return to assist in the development & upkeep of Lake Placid.

Great video! I'm an old Ozark hillbilly and I thought I knew all the hideaways. I was wrong. Were it up to me I'd embrace the past and keep out the future. Just my opinion.
