Not only does it factor into a Battalion you can purchase in a Cities of Sigmar army (which also got its own Lumineth Realm-Lord/Hysh themed subfaction), it was also a plot point. A really cool plot point, at that. Not to spoil the story, but let's just say an important character in Age of Sigmar took a beam of concentrated light magic straight to the face. It was awesome.

Lets talk about war wagons and the black lions: I think they're fine. They look awesome, they are slow enough but not unrealistic, they deal good damage and have better field of view than normal handgunners. My main problem is their cost and how slowly their mortars shoot.

I love it for all this Vietnam alegories. Great battlle IMHO. I wonder how these handgunners and pikemen survived for so long in this hot jungle full of dinosaurs. Perhaps the key was the mobility of your troops; war wagons and handgunners quickly run from the lines to safe destination. Slowly marching Killer Crocks and Skink Cohorts just couldn't reach them and took a severe punishment with huge amount of lead and silver bullets. Last but not least Balthassar has made some magic tricks to the cold bloded Jurassic Park crew. Good Game, Thanks!

Kroxigors needs chaff around for sure, in which case they work very well :) They can even take on/be pretty good against cav units just because of their armor piercing value and animation. But yeah they die without support. They're very much designed to be used as in the lore; alongside skinks.

Are halberds good in matches where the opponent does not have much range? The combo of bonus vs large + armor-piercing sounds very good, but I don't see many people use them.

They are a fine choice as a supplement to a battle line against factions like Lizardmen yeah. But they're a bit too expensive to bring a bunch of them as a front line, especially when regular Spearmen are so cheap and cost effective

I don't understand Final Transmutation. is the damage divided among targets in the circle? better to cast on isolated single entities? or better to cast on blobs? the tooltip for the spell does not make sense

its best to cast it on multiple single entities, when they are in blobs of other troops. basically the more you catch inside the radius of the spell, the better. Think of it like an AOE spirit leech on steroids. High value single entities are the best target for it, and the more of those you catch in the spell the better, but it also does good damage to cav and infantry that get caught in the radius
