I lived in Morro Bay for a few years on my Ericson 27 right next to the Inn at Morro Bay , summers are foggy and wet, but in the fall, it is epic.

I have no clue how you don’t have more followers. This is easily among the best shot and edited sailing channels. The only thing I can think of is a big passage video that seems to bring in followers

Great video as usual you guys. The videography, storytelling , and editing are superb. We also have an old engine on Make My Day. A 1980 Ford Lehman 2712e. A work horse of an engine that requires it's regular TLC. 4700 hours and counting. Greetings from Porto Santo.

Do you mind saying where you sent your pump and injectors, and good service? I'm in the same boat.
@sailingavocet Жыл бұрын
I wouldn’t send you where we got the ‘em serviced. It failed us again in Mexico where we got it rebuilt by a mechanic there who did a phenomenal job!

@@sailingavocet now you have me nervous, was it a local shop on the central coast? Santa Maria?

Still trying to work out your issues with Morro Bay. You flicked through pictures very quickly and it was hard to follow. Did Avocet drag in a storm and end up beached? I think I caught a picture of the boat on the beach. Is that true? Was the boat damaged at all?

That’s coming in the next video, or you can catch up here www.svavocet.com

Sounds more like Exercise Induced Asthma, not altitude sickness. (Seems you know that.) When I ran cross country I just couldn't get any better and I'd collapse at the end of every race. Years later I got diagnosed and got an inhaler. The factors are altitude (at least 3500 feet I think), fitness, and then there's asthma. Later you'll have chest pains. It's not heart disease, it's your bronchia constricting because of pollution and asthma. There's always a moment at sea or in the wilderness where I'll realize, 'I can't feel my lungs.' They're just working, I feel great. An amazing bonus you should someday seek out. I hiked for a few weeks in the Himalayas in Yunnan, China -- everything above 7000' some of it at 10 and 11,000. When you're acclimated to altitude you feel great all the time. Then I flew home to Los Angeles and climbed Mt San Antonio, 10,000 feet. Easy. (My boat is down in Oxnard if you guys are near and need anything.)

Howdy Will! I think you are 100% right. I have similar issues when mountain biking in the mountains. We actually bought Avocet in Oxnard, then moved her up to Ventura then cast off after 5 years of projects! We are now in Mexico.. a bit behind with posts, but you can stay up to date over at www.svavocet.com
