👀 looking forward to next weeks posting! All of my students currently receive OT, PT, and SLP services in a most restrictive setting. I try desperately to collaborate with my related service providers and stay up to date with best practices and how I can embed these skills in the classroom. Again.... I’m so proud of YOU.... God is great and HE is doing great things through YOU!!! Blessings.

Hi Crytal, out of all the schools that you received acceptance, why Columbia U. was your ultimate decision? I got accepted to Columbia for OT for fall 2020 and my only worry right now is the student loans. How do you go pass that thought? I get a bit stress about it. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this video. They were very helpful

Hi Lizzette! First congratulations!! :) Personally my real decisions were between Columbia and NYU since I knew I wanted to live in the city. Both schools are super expensive and Columbia's program was actually cheaper and took less time than NYU so thats why I chose it. I have a need-based scholarship but its honestly not much so I'm funding my education off of loans. It is a hefty amount and sometimes I get worried thinking about it but then I remember that I'm investing in myself and my education. OT is a growing field and you're basically guaranteed a job after graduation so I'm not worried about being able to pay them back. But ultimately you have to do what you think is best for you :) Good luck on making your decision!

@@itscristalj6447 thanks Cristal for your quick response. I live in the city and i got accepted to suny downstate, columbia and nyu. But i am deciding bwt. Columbia and Suny downstate. Its a hard decision, but like you said i have to remind myself that this is an investment 😊.
