I think your displays for your cartridges are super cool and you should keep them forever! Also, this is a weird and random personal request, but I have had a weird and random week where this came up... Next time you talk about super powers for kids, PLEASE talk about how housework is NOT a gendered skill, and that men CAN BE tidy and still also be manly, and that being a slob and expecting other people to clean up after you is a real [expletive] move. You used to talk about this room back in the day, and getting to see it is just awesome. Nerd heaven. Side note: you should get a tiny checkered table cloth for the table your pizza hut lamp is on. Lol

Isn''t it wonderful to have a place you can go in your house that just makes you happy? Mine is my bedroom with my bookcase of Pen storage books (shelf is full) and 3 shelves of bottles of ink, and a shelf of paper. And then my desk is next to it with all of my pens in use, washi tape notebooks in use, my desk blotter and lamp, etc. We are very lucky to have these places and all of the things they hold. Thanks for the tour, Drew! You are so tidy!!!

Oh my goooooodnesss, Drew your room is amazing. As a 80s kid I love video games (original gamer girl here), and Bumblebee oh yes best Transformers movie yet because it's like the original 80s Transformers which I loved (also I am a Thundercats die hard fan). Oh my gosh!! It reminds me of everything I love. You are 12 years younger than me, but we have so much in common. We are both Rats in the Chinese Zodiac so it makes sense. I just downloaded Tropical Freeze on my switch over the Christmas Break. Love that you are a nerd!! I also had the NES Robot R.O.B. with the game Gyromite. I cannot believe I ever got rid of it. I have collected all of my boy's systems and games. I told them how much my old systems and games are worth now. My oldest son has Autism and fell in love with the NES I had. His prize possessions are the Cube and all of the gamecube games.

Awesome room and I love the SNES wall displays! I have several retro consoles in my entertainment center as well (NES, Genesis, 2600 currently). If you have time for podcasts, the Play Retro podcast is great for retro news and game reviews.

Love the space! It’s so you, fun, charmingly nerdy, and comfy. I still have my physical media too, though I pitched the original cases and went with sleeves and filing drawers. 1984 was a good year for film and music, though I didn’t appreciate it as much at the time (fourteen years old and in the worst of my teen angst). I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve seen some of those movies. 😂
