@@templarw20 I actually told my wife after I made the video that I don't know what was more surprising the fact that I used about 50 different sources from all the various bad dinosaur movies or the fact that I had no problem finding that many. I left off a ton of references there was just too many

Jurassic park as a franchise either needs to be put to rest or get a full reboot treatment because they wrote themselves into corners with this last couple of films, and either way, I would like to wait a long time until the next one. the best thing about being a paleo fan these days is that thanks to learning about all the Psuedosuchians and Sebecids and such, we have plenty of beefy reptiles to perfectly fill the role of retro style dinosaurs thematically while coexisting with the modern day styled dinosaurs, the best of both worlds. have been trying to work out how to stat out the giant land crocs.

The Isle of Dread is such a good module. My favorite part of Mystara. I think the Isle of Dread could have easily become a official setting like Ravenloft.

With the nanuqasaurus running around you can totally have dinosaurs in snowy areas. They also had hadrosaurs in the north as well. Have a pack of them ambush your players in norwold.

@@gorillaguerillaDK More Protobirds for "True Dinosaurs"; though "Dinosaurs" is often used in Popular Culture to categorize any Large or Greater Size Creature over 65 Million Years Ago.

@@KebaRPG Yes I remember learning something about how Dinosaurs only was a part of the large animals, but I must confess my knowledge isn't strong on this topic - isn't there something with a lot of the flying creatures not being dinosaurs or something like that? And dinosaur belonging to a group of creatures that included large crocodile like creatures and creatures closer related to birds, or being proto-birds as you describe it?

A pacy mount would be nice. Personally, I like getting the big (and size-inflated for the big ones, but I don't care) dinos in Ark and naming them after Dinobots. Speaking of... there's quite a bit of overlap between the overseers of the Arks and Ka in terms of motive and method... Crossover!

I covered those in the lizard folk video. Essentially they are Apex humanoids that would challenge just about any sentient race for dominance. That's the fluff the rules unfortunately don't live up to that

@@Mr_Welch Somebody I used to game with ran Twilight's Calling and described them as bipedal Komodo Dragons. That image stuck with me - something more primitive and savage than most depictions of lizardfolk, but not exactly dinosaurian.
