I'm _so_ glad I found this channel! I program for a living and I've been wanting to try NES development, but had no idea where to start. Even just the development environment video was a major help, so thank you for making these videos!

I feel you... When I first started tooling around on the NES there were so few resources available. It took forever for me to wrap my head around the system and get even a basic game running, so I definitely had folks like you in mind when I thought up the channel :)

I'm not a developer or coder however I'm extremely interested in hacking/DIY,electrical engineering etc and grew up in the 80's so finding a channel like this is very facinating and waaaaay underrated. Just knowing how all this stuff works (even if I don't understand it all) is very entertaining. I can't wait to see your subscriber count explode over time. Your videos are extremely informative and well produced...this is like a free masterclass dude! You are a great content creator! Bell set to All notifications! Keep up the good work and take the time needed to continue pushing out quality videos!

I've watched a few videos and so far I'm very impressed by the quality of the presentation and technical explanations, which I'd describe as on par with a Udemy course. Looking forward to seeing how the channel evolves. Great job!

Love the music! Who's the artist?
@NesHacker2 жыл бұрын
It's a song called "Gold Medal" by an artist named Sander Kalmeijer. I found it on a stock video / audio site.

Very interesting topics, but maybe you could try to volume down the background music.

I started doing that in later videos, I was still learning how to mix the bg music in with the narration for my first few.
