I feel like only once, at the end of the entire series of night vale, in the last episode, last shot, as he says good night night vale, goodnight, then we'd see his face. Only then. I would watch this every day
@firepenguin10111 жыл бұрын
it would be a really cool TV show if we saw everything going on as cecil reports it, but we never see cecil's face. It would be like us seeing what he sees. There could be clips of part of his face (chin, mouth, obviously) and body, hands,feet, but never the entire whole. But we see every other character.

+Ariana Tift. I think if there was a night vale tv show, it would be shot from Carlos' perspective(maybe even as he films some of the odder things to happen in night vale) which would give it a more interesting spin, as he's not used to night vales weirdness

Glad you like it! -Hannibal -Thor -Fright Night -Pirate Radio Also, if anyone knows of any tv shows or movies set in the desert, if they could pass that along either here or tumblr, that'd be swell.

Other than that the music is too loud to hear Cecil clearly in the beginning (and a bit at the end), this video is magnificently cut together, and you got the atmosphere exactly right! Fantastic!

omg, I keep watching this because it's just so perfect... Wonderful choice of song and clips, it especially works because I don't know where you pulled any of them from (except a quick glimpse of something from Hannibal). I, too, am hearing a small issue with the music overriding Cecil's voice somewhat, but if that's the only thing wrong with this video then it's still an A+++!

"Critics would call it, 'The Embodiment of a creeping feeling', but that could be the spider that's always on you moving to a better vantage point." Either that, or that could be the spider in your head adjusting it's grip on your brain.

I'd suggest checking out Eureka for "weird town" footage, and Warehouse 13 for "weird government agents in a desert" footage. They're mostly not in the desert but the warehouse is in the middle of nowhere and near a small town. Northern Exposure is worth checking, especially anything with Chris, the radio guy.

'A story about you' would make for a great live action adaptation. Voiced over narration, broken by actual radio chatter of the same. Maybe even using Cecil's voice as dubbing for everyone.

'Welcome to Night Vale' seems like something that should have its own show similar to 'The Outer Limits' or 'The Twilight Zone'. Probably the newer generation's version of the two? In which a stranger could wonder in there and experience the odd life of these people, or maybe even a recurring event in the famous television series 'Supernatural', for a start. (As it may split into it's own series). To be honest, if someone doesn't do this soon, I'll be forced to take matters in my own hands. :)
