In malaysia we don't normally call tea (chai) because chai are commonly use in india.We either say tea or teh.

If you want the hot version you can ask for Teh Tarik or Teh Panas. Its tea with condense milk. Teh-O for tea with sugar.

Most of the old buildings here in Malaysia are British influence. Mainly in the state of Melaka have Portuguese & Dutch influence buildings.

If want a cup of tea go to a coffeeshop not shop selling shirts....chai is not a common name for tea in some part of Malaysia. We just call it tea or teh
@farandbeyond11 ай бұрын
Yeah I know now it's called tea or teh but I was actually looking for the Indian style tea which is called chai, but it was not available in Kuala Limpis, it was however available all over Kuala Lumpur because of the massive Indian population

How did you find communicating among locals in Malaysia ? was it easy or hard ? for big city like KL yes sure, but for small town like Kuala Lipis how was it ?
@farandbeyond11 ай бұрын
Truth be told it was pretty easy, the occasional difficult moment but many people were bilingual throughout all of Malaysia. The southern parts of Thailand are a lot harder, almost nobody speaks English and if they do it's very little. You need to always use translator

During the colonial period, this used to be the capital of pahang instead of kuantan. That is why it is built up or developed
