Yes this is tied to Arcane, ie the Mell and ending scene are happening post S2 of arcane and it is a tie in to a future Noxus related show. Noxus being a conquering agressive empire, with a anyone can become a Noxian attitude if they are strong enough its in a way a fantasy Roman Empire ... this takes us to the structure you see Mel examining. That is an Noxtura ... its part road mark, part Roman Victory Arch, that the Empire builds on roads in their teritory to mark the way towards the capital city, its a take on the saying "All roads lead to Rome" it is also covered by carvings representing the history of Noxus, like you see the carvings about the victory on a Roman Victory Arch. A neat thing about Mels first scene, her story starts at the exact spot where a cinematic released for her mother ended things kinda coming round. In the Vision Mel is storming the Imortal Bastion an enormous fortrest around which the city of Noxus was build and bellow which lies the main base of the Black Rose. she is seen fighting forces affiliated with the black rose, first she is attacked by soldiers, that if you look closely look like the ones surrounding the man in the other scene as he walks up to fight the troll. This is the Grey legion, warriors brought back as undead fighters with blood magic. We then see 4 Hemomancers = Blood Mages, trying to subdue her. The Grey Legion and the Blood Mages are almost always associated with the Black Rose. (there are exceptions and defectors) The man we see is called Darius, it was confirmed this was a younger version of the character, as he looks smaller and thinner here. But we dont know how far in the past this is, so he is either a commander of a Warband here, or a newly mage general. Who steps up to fight Trundle the self-styled King of the Trolls ... Trundle is also a rare non human Iceborn, a being that can touch without dying a magical substance called True Ice. Touching True Ice directly for almost everyone is extremely painful and people who are not Iceborn die almost immediately in extreme pain. Even touching True Ice corrupted/influneced stuff is extremely painful and for a majority deadly. The fact that Darius picked up the corrupted Axe, did not pass out from the pain and was able to actually strike with it and remain conscious afterwards shows the will, grit and endurance the man has ... he is a beast in his own right The masked party with the assassin is most likely happening in the future compared to Mels story. Unless they are changing the redheaded assassins story. Her name is Katerina, who uses 2 daggers that are magically bound to her and she can teleport them and and to them, as we see at one point during her fight - in her most recent story - a Comics we learn when and how and when she got the daggers, and its happened 7 years after a Coup d'état happened in Noxus, and its likely that Arcane is happening close to this Take over so anywhere between 9-6 years before Katarina gets her teleportation. The spider women she is fighting is called Elise, she is a noblewoman from Noxus who got poisoned by her husband, and survived with the help of the Black Rose by making a deal with a ravenous spider deity from the undead infested Shadow Islands that transformed her into the spider lady and gave her the ability to turn into a giant spider as we see. As long as she and the black rose keep sending it sacrifices regularly In the final scene we get to see LeBlanc and Vladimir, the founders and leaders of the Black Rose. LeBlanc has the ability to send out clones of herself and uses illusion magic. And monitors things around the empire and many parts of the world. as seen by the fact that she draws what is happening with Katarina, at the point she is confronted with Elise and that she knows Mel came to Noxus. The Black Rose does a lot of shady, corrupt and awful stuff to gather power to protect the world onlu they know about. Vladimir is the vampire looking man, he is the first mortal to ever learn Hemomancy ie Blood Magic, basically functioning as a twist on a vampire, he has followers that he taught this magic which we see in Mels vision. Vladimir learned this magic from corrupt demigods called the Darkin, during The Great Darking Wars, when he was sent as a political hostage to one of the demigods to keep them away from a kingdom from across the ocean 1500 years or so years before Arcane, these demigods were eventually sealed into weapons thanks to celestial intervention.

Why is everyone saying that this is a teaser for the new show? Riot hasn't said this. They have only confirmed that it is in the Arcane continuity and they it is for the 1st of 3 yearly seasons of League. The new show could be completely different. I not saying is or even be something different, just that Riot hasn't made it official.

There are no good guys in this cinematic. Mel is the closest you're gonna get. Now, there aren't any truly evil people in this cinematic either, some very grey area self-serving folks, but no one that is outright evil.

@@krysisstorm2703 There was an interview with the creative director and Arcane creator and showrunner Christian Linke by Necrit, where he confirmed there is work being done on show projects for Noxus, Ionia and Demacia ... and since this is tied to Noxus, and it would be a natural to that be the next one from Arcane... people kinda mixed this video with that info ... yeah my bad as well, there is not info that this is actually connected to the next show. it would still work, but its just is not that.

I think it makes sense if it was. Seems like it’s following that golden magic lady who has a more or less direct connection with Noxus.

It's a cinematic for the game Season 1 of 2025 Arcane is the same canon as the league game too

S1 was perfect and flawless. ez 10/10. If I wanted to be an internet wierdo I could point out a few nitpicks with S2 but it was ez to overlook them due to the emotional highs of S2. S2 ez 9.5/10. Both undisputed legends.
