This trade made tons of sense for both teams because the Cowboys knew either way Devonta Smith was going to be playing for a division rival so why not get some extra ammunition out of it

Plus, they did get CeeDee Lamb the year before, which was an original target for the birds during the 2020 draft. Even though we hate them, at least the Cowboys were courteous to us during the 2021 draft, and gave us a weapon that lived up to the hype!

Lol, they picked up a legit number one receiver 😂. He is a main component why the eagles are the best team in the nfl right now. You double aj brown and smith will decimate your defense. This is a pro bowl lvl receiver on a team that is 1b to a proven pro bowler. I don’t want ANYONE but Devonta in this draft and I would pick him 20 times out of 10!
