This is awesome that you're back. It's been great reliving Avatar with you. Just know that the legend of Korra was only renewed for a new season after nickelodeon saw it's success, so every season, the producers thought it was the last season so all 4 seasons seem like a series finale. If that makes sense 😅

Metal bending is more common but isn’t normal. It’s 1/100 for earth benders so still pretty uncommon but more widespread. But there is a police force for metal benders but we don’t see more than a dozen this season. There is also one more sub bending that people think is very common but is more rarer than they think.

There is a movie in the works with young adult versions of the ATLA gang, so you'll get your wish (eventually) In this episode, Katara is about 95 (people live a bit longer in the ATLA world than real world Earth). The show show takes place 70 years after the end of ATLA. Korra is 17. In a comic, they established that Aang's time in the ice berg took a few decades off his life. Tenzin always overpronounces the "h" in "when" "white" any w word. Also, you need to change the battery in your smoke detector.

Btw Bumi is named after King Bumi (wow really?) but Kya (Aang and Kataras daughter) is named after Kataras mom and Tenzin is named after Gyatso. Apparently monk Gyatsos first name was Tenzin
