Excellent idea. Deceptively simple song & I liked the visuals. Very effective. I have a relative from around those parts who really hates Scousers. I never had the heart to say that anyone from >30 miles away would think he was a Scouser too. Talk of "Wool-ies" reminds me of the fury that anyone from Liverpool would erupt into if you admitted to not being from Liverpool. And what's so bad about wearing wool? How can such a great city save their greatest contempt for natural fibres?

When people talk so badly of Runcorn do they not stop first and think about what they are spouting about. Yes Runcorn has changed and not in all respects for the better. But thast can be said of most towns throughout the world. Runcorn has much to offer both in terms of good employment prospects, some lovely area to walk, lovely canals for sailing and fishing, Good motorway access, some lovely houses both old and new and a town steeped in history

merseysalmon - You talk about the methadone which thankfully I do not need as I do not do drugs of any description. However going by your remarks maybe I should ask the same question of you. Have some pride, look further than your nose, Runcorn is steeped in history. A lovely hill to walk around, large companies offering good jobs. Not everything is rosy but Runcorn has much to offer.

The video's not far from the truth however when I move from Huyton to Runcorn my house insurance went down by 2/3 and my car insurance down by a half! As bad as Runcorn is the insurance companies think its less bad than Liverpool! Sorry

The problem with Runcorn, Warrington and Widnes is not the place, but the people in it. Half of you can't even spell Runcorn - no wonder we have the highest teenage pregnancy rate in the North of the UK - you all seem to think the more kids you have the more dole you get. Besides I know who wrote this song - he is from Runcorn and it's just a fucking song. There are still some normal people here but not many... The only right this about Runcorn is the M56 out of here...
