Honestly, hearing the direction over the B-roll was one of my favorite things about this video. It added a bit of personality, seeing you guide the people you just met towards some of those picturesque transitional clips for the video, it felt unique. I wish there was a better way to describe it, but i enjoyed it! This is one of those videos that I stumbled upon by chance, which had me hooked from the start. Great job.

I was laying in bed at about 11:30 pm, and felt a call, a call to chenarus. I was in gorka, and looked to push west into novy sobor. My hunger was starting to take its toll, and night started to fall. I heard the sound of a deer in the distance and in the haste of hunger, rushed in after that deer with only a Glock to take it down. My food was flashing red at this point, and they heard me coming, so they ran away. That was it, my last shot at survival. I tried to take down a few zombies and none of them had food. I searched every greenhouse, and didn’t find a thing. I was in a little house ready to accept my fate, when I heard someone approaching. I could see their head through the window but decided not to take the shot. I called out for help letting them know I was starving to death and they gave me a zucchini. They gave me some more food, and I gave them water. We went hunting together in the dead of night for the deer I had heard earlier. He shot and killed one with a pistol and I butchered it. Then we raced back into town and cooked our meal together, when another stranger approached us. We invited them in to our cabin to join us at the fire for a meal, and after some supplies were exchanged, we set out for novy sobor. We made it to the police station about 10 minutes before server reset. We added each other, and then logged off for the night. I likely would’ve died had I not obliged the call, or if I had taken the shot. It’s interactions like that with complete strangers that make dayz one of the greatest games ever

I don’t have nearly as much experience as you. I personally have fun finding equipment and weapons. It’s a grind that I’ve gotten good at. I have had a base with my team before and it was cool and fun to defend. I just think it’s fun to start over. That’s part of what makes DayZ so awesome.

Hey Cam, wondering if you've had a similar problem on official servers finding boats? i ran the entire coast spawn starting from sumnoe all the way to the land bridge. NOT 1 Boat. could you go into more depth about the boat respawn mechanics in a later video, im sure alot of people are likely as curious as i am. loved the video!
