Welcome to St John's Pre-Preparatory

St John's Pre-Preparatory was founded in 1970 and is situated on the St John's College campus, away from the hustle and bustle of the College, with its own entrance on St Patrick Road.
The Pre-Prep offers a creative and stimulating learning environment that encourages the development of the individual child. We equip each of our little boys with the cognitive, physical, emotional and social skills necessary for a happy and confident start to their school careers, trusting that they will become accomplished, successful and lifelong learners.
Pre-Prep Facts:
Four Grade 0 classes with 17 boys per class
Three Grade 1 classes with 25 boys per class
A teacher's assistant in every classroom
Specialist teachers for music, drama, sport, art, ICT, Afrikaans, isiZulu and Sesotho
Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Educational Psychologist available
Aftercare is available every school day until 17h15
