Welcome to Telluride

Welcome to Telluride, where the rules of society are replaced with the rules of the mountains. Where avalanches are a daily occurrence and the constant rumble in the distance of whole slopes erupting can feel like a war zone at times.
We have to move quickly, be precise, improvise, and sometimes just go for it. It isn’t safe here, it never is, and we have a lot of red and even black alert days on the avalanche forecast here in Telluride. We spend a lot of days being cautious and making the call to turn back, but we have to have our fun sometimes too.
So here is some of my footage of the days I didn’t feel the need to be as cautious and we didn’t have to turn back. Here is some of my footage of the days we live for. The days we starve whole years for. Here is the best of the record breaking 2016/2017 Winter of Telluride.

Yeah me too... what a difference a year makes!! The snow we do have isn’t setting up well at all either and there’s been lots of reactive layers and signs of avalanche risk all over, makes it difficult to get into a lot of our terrain. Thank you!

I used to go there every Summer vacation and Christmas break. It is a beautiful place to go and the festivals are very fun. I suggest to visit the " free box " while you are there too.❤

Wow that dude is sick! Paragliding is pretty wild. No yeah I’m okay! We just had a low-tide year last year and a very touchy snowpack this season. Avalanche conditions aren’t letting us really hammer lines the way we could a couple years ago.
