@iq345 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Freddie was well-known for slamming his hands into the keys and that gives choppy, cut-through-the-mix piano lines, I also feel like the part where it slows down after the chorus is a perfect place to put in a blistering Red Special solo.

And all around i would have loved a bit more guitar in the song. Queen would've made it more rock.
@jadenkoi31584 жыл бұрын
It definitely feels like something that would have been on Queen, Queen II, Sheer Heart Attack, or possibly Night at the Opera. But even for that it feels a bit too soft. Those four albums even had some very defined melodies and defined guitar and piano work... But still. I did get some 'I'm in Love With my Car' vibes and 'The March of the White Queen' as well as the obligatory 'Bohemian Rhapsody'.
@LuxTheSlav4 жыл бұрын
@@jadenkoi3158 Bruh, some parts of Queen and Queen II are legit proto-metal, I would never consider them the softer of their albums. They had softer songs throughout all their material. This reminds me most of songs like You And I, or You're My Best Friend.

@James Sandberg Actually all of MCR albums have a story behind them, although personally I find the black parade's story arc to be the most compelling and well planned out one. Gerard, besides being a huge Queen fan, is also a comic book writer, so it makes sense why he would include his passion for narrative creation and art into his music... The black parade album follows the journey of a guy (known as the patient) as he gets diagnosed with cancer and suddenly is faced with his death. There are a lot of fans that can explain the story better than I do, but essentially, that's it.

Sounds more like queen at 1.25 speed. Freddie brought a lot of energy to the music, and the original speed seemed a little too slow to me, faster also simulated Freddie's tendency to clip the last syllable of some words while singing. That being said Anthony, you have so much damn talent! To be able to crank the number of style / song combos you do, and to be able to do them so well is really impressive!
