This song always transports my mind back to the summer of '91 when I was 15 years old and didn't have fuckin' bills and a shitty job lol Awesome rendition Miles, love it.

never loved Elvis was the first album that i bought myself, 50p 0n tape from a traveling record sales lad that went round car boot sales. and its still my fave album and has got me through some hard times. i will always have never loved Elvis to turn on and drift away for a bit. genuinely warms me up every time i need it. thank you wonderstuff

I wish that Cheap Seats documentary was available somewhere in DVD form.... loved watching that, think the VHS broke... looking forward to the new custodian and the at home shows.... Not getting any mailing info anymore though...?!

Cheap Seats is available on DVD, was released in 2006.. quite rare to find now though and you will pay a bit for it these days. Have seen some selling on Amazon for about £30

Oh you beautiful creature, the lyrics (as you can imagine) had one impact on me, and it wasn’t the giving up the smokes ;) love you, and nice work as usual George Taylor x

Love this version - very calm and folky - gives the lyrics a chance to shine - I still love the frenetic pace of the original from my youth (and my actual fave is the version I heard you do with Erica a few years ago at Arlington Arts in Newbury) - but this is very special. Looking forward to the new album.

Like but prefer the energy of the original. The energy made it for me.

Have to say I was really disappointed in the Custodians and Miles. The songs lack the feel and power of the originals. I was hoping Miles would have added some fire and new life into the songs not taken it out. Not sure if it was the way they were recording or if Miles is starting to sound bit old and horse. Sometimes you need to leave great songs alone. This is Miles “cash grab” riding the Wonder Stuff name into the ground. Save your money or spend it on the local bands that are struggle to survive and are producing better music!
