I think it’s tied to operation phoenix and the central dim curve we saw in the last season. We see other threats emerge like tammy and morty. So im assuming that he did something in the other galaxies to make him hide in these ones but she found and tracked him down and morty is trying to get out. I think rick lived his life before and thats why he tried to off himself in the first season- because he knows the tragedy that will repeat forever. Also this makes the whole ricks are hermit crabs reference a bit deeper and would explain operation Phoenix

It doesnt work all curencies are relative to another. You would have to inflate a currency from trading pair to make the other currency in the trading pair tend to 0. And even if you did that all the other trading would still be stable.

One US dollar is always worth one US dollar, and one apple will always be worth one apple, even if nobody wants to buy apples. The only way Rick could wreak havoc on the system would be to set the price of each product/service to an astronomically high number. Then, people would arbitrage the prices, and a few people would get extremely rich, but the prices would tend back to the norm eventually.
