Hello, I use a pair of kh310 connected to 750 to calibrate. After calibration, I save the parameters and then close the software. After unplugging the network cable, is the calibration parameter written into the subwoofer dsp? I don’t need to connect the network cable every time I use it. yes you are correct in your understanding, the settings are saved within the kh750

My system consists of two KH 80 DSP monitors and I recently purchased a KH 750 subwoofer and a MA 1 microphone. All of them are connected to the same network switch as my PC and set to 'network'. When I scan for speakers, the KH 750 and one KH 80 show up; but one of the KH 80's is missing. No matter how many times I refresh the list, try different network cables, power everything off and on, the software does not see the second KH 80 monitor. I don't own an iPad, so I never tried the Apple Neumann Control app, which I understand is how you update the firmware of the KH 80's. Could it be a firmware issue on one of my KH 80's? Is there a way to do a hard reset on the speaker? Should I borrow an iPad and see if I can update the firmware? I can still do a 'Stereo Bass Management' calibration with only the KH 750, but it would be nice to be able to calibrate all of the speakers.

Hello! You could try performing a factory reset. Please proceed as follows: To reset the KH 80 DSP internal controls to their factory default values: > Switch on the KH 80 DSP. > While the Logo is still red indicating the boot up phase, move the SETTINGS switch up and down repeatedly. > Keep doing this until a few seconds after the logo turns white. The Logo will then light up with a red flutter flash for a few seconds before reverting to white.

@@GeorgNeumannGmbH Thanks, I tried that a few times with no luck. Here's what did work: I bought an iPad and was able to update the firmware on both monitors (both were v1.0.2) using the Neumann.Control app. Once the firmware was up to date on all of the speakers, the MA-1 Alignment software was able to detect all of the speakers and I completed a full stereo alignment with bass management - and it sounds amazing!

Is it possible to connect other marks of active-nearfields to the KH750 DSP subwoofer and align it with the MA1-set? That way I can go 'full Neumann' in stages: first i'd buy the sub and enjoy it with my Yamaha's HS7 (connected & processed via the KH750) and later on i could change the Yamaha's with Neumann's (KH80/120/310 for example)???

Hi Martijn, the KH 750 has a very precise built-in x-over, which fits perfectly to our loudspeakers. It also has very flexible gain setting options and further acoustical options to be able to align it ideally to Neumann KH-line loudspeakers. In combination with our MA 1 - Automatic Monitor Alignment it is even possible to align our DSP loudspeakers automatically. In combination with the KH 750, our analog loudspeakers can then be aligned as well and optimized in their phase response. However, with this flexibility it is of course possible to connect other brand loudspeakers even if we think best results would be achieved in combination with our loudspeakers 😉.

Wir halten Dich natürlich über jedes Update auf dem Laufenden!

Ja stimmt leider. Was wirklich stört, ist, dass man nachträglich nichts mehr ändern kann. Wenn einem also auffällt, dass man bei bestimmten Instrumenten/Musikrichtungen an den Einstellungen etwas ändern will, muss man den ganzen Einmessvorgang erneut durchlaufen, anstatt die bereits gemessenen Daten mit der errechneten Korrekturkurve erneut vom Rechner zu laden, mit ein paar clicks die Zielkurve zu ändern und das Gesamtergebnis an die Lautsprecher zu übertragen. Das Potential wär da, warum es Neumann nicht nutzt, weiß ich nicht. Aber ich geb die Hoffnung nicht auf, dass es irgendwann ein Update gibt. :-)

If I change my KH810 for this new 750 DSP , will I get same amount of Lows ?

Hello, the lower cutoff frequency of all KH series subwoofers, the KH810, KH870 and KH750 is the same, they go down to 18 Hz. So you don‘t get more lows in this regard. The maximum SPL of KH 810 is higher compared to KH750. So if you currently are at a replay level which occasionally leads to the limiter of the KH810 getting activated you shouldn’t go for at least just one KH750. The frequency linearity of the entire system is very likely getting significantly more linear. And, if you have analog KH series monitors connected to it you will have improved phase linearity.

Bitte gebt dem User die Möglichkeit zwischen Flat und der raumabhängigen Curve zu entscheiden. Die Zielkurve auf flach anzupassen war sehr zeitaufwendig. Die Lautsprecher sollen ja nicht gut oder großartig klingen, dann könnte ich mir auch HiFi Lautsprecher kaufen, sondern ehrlich ohne Eigenklang.

Das Ergebnis ist gut, aber der Weg dorthin leider noch sehr mühsam und umständlich. Die Software hat derzeit noch großen Update Bedarf, was auch viele andere Nutzer berichten
