Great video, this is the content i'm here for! One thing, if i as a native German speaker may give you a pronounciation hint about "Nordschleife", say the E at the end. German doesn't have silent vowels at the end of words. So it's the same as the proper pronounciation of "Porsche", the E is not omitted at the end, you always say it :)

I have a question about the little roads in the area there like at 5:47 . They look nice, but very narrow... are they One-Way roads? Hey man, no they are two way roads! They are not all that narrow, just the ones between villages. You can take the main road instead if you want, but as you can see the smaller roads are a lot of fun and well paved!

Nice vid Danny. Missed you by a couple of days. Seeing Mike's Civic I'm kind of worried. The harnesses can cause an injury to the spine in case of an accident. This way you will compress the vertebral column if this go south. The angle is way too steep. They should be between 0 - 10 degrees below the shoulder. Cheers

Owww if you're talking about Sunday 08.04 than I've overlooked your car. BTW that Silver BMW RingTool you fancied belongs to a friend of mine. Great car and dito driver. The Ring was fine for 4 track-days with the proven PAGID RS29's until as an experiment I put a set of dixcel Ra's under the Z4Minator. After 6 laps the Rotor cracked.... New rotors/RS29 ordered and installed. Anyone fancy a barely used set of Dixcels????? Cheers

DannyDC2 They last for ages also as they are an endurance pad, so they aren’t actually that expensive when you consider other pads wear twice as quickly.

They were just talking about how to use the persuader to get the hub nut off, while cussing at it in many ways obviously..., then at the end when they are getting the m3 coolant replaced one of them is asking if they want him to empty the coolant in the toilet, and the other one is telling him not to because although no one drinks that water, the ducks in the area might die. Nurburgring is very hard on cars. Issues that you wouldn't notice on the road soon crop up. This is why it's a good idea to do a trackday before coming out, but there wasn't time for me!

Check engine bay temps, say what you want but it’s functional

May be so. But the air is flowing opposite to what most people think in motion. Air doesn't escape out of the bonnet. It gets pushed in and exits under the car. It's bad for aerodynamics and can stall airflow to the rad. You will never see a professional race team do it. Bonnet vents placed in a low pressure area of the bonnet is the proper solution.

Again Spark plug Steve you’re speaking as if this is done to a street car, if it’s done properly it’s very easy to have the air exit out of the back of the hood, when I do rally you can see the dust come through even without a panel under the car, so I will have to disagree! You also probably don’t do long distance races where engine heat is a huge factor

simple way to test it is tape some strings to the scuttle and rear bonnet edge and watch what direction they flow. let me know how it goes.

sandro barbakadze yes it's called the Channel Tunnel you drive your car onto a train and it takes you through.. Cost was £170 the ship/ferry is slightly cheaper but takes longer.

this was after 1 lap of the Nordschleife. Well not even that. I wasn't even half way round. Hence the drastic measures of cutting the shields off as well. The thing you need here is confidence in brakes!
