The Chiefs probably would have won anyway, because Fairbairn cost Houston points that would have kept them in striking distance. But that doesn't make the refs' calls right or fair, and those calls changed the complexion of the game. Maybe the refs don't think Kansas City can win the game on their own this year. They have to give their assistance whenever they see an opportunity. Is it any wonder that many NFL fans feel disdain for the Chiefs these days? It isn't that the Chiefs have no talent. Oh no. If the Chiefs didn't get that second bogus RTP call it would have been 2nd and 5 from the 40 yard line and they wouldn't have continued their 13 play 8 minute drive and scored a TD.
