As a professional rigger with over 10 years experience in the field. Get rid of the wire rope hoist and go to a chain one. Way more reliable. You also won't have to redo the wire rope all the time. As you wind that thing up and down, it kinks the strands and eventually will start to break individual wires within the strand eventually causing failure if you're not inspecting it all the time. A chain hoist will take the lickin' and keep on tickin' And if you ever want custom tie downs made for specific application DM me. Can do fire retardant protector pads for the dyno if need be as well. Congratulations with the new shop acquisition and can't wait for more content!

Add solar panels to the roof of the shop. It will cool the tin on top thus cooling the interior and supply all the power to run most of the housekeeping loads in your shop. And putting power back on the grid. I used SEM Power out of tampa with a 10k, 34 panel system. You should use more.. My power bill is min of $9.00 a month due to the monitoring cell system so far of $14.00 max. The air space between the roof and the bottom of the solar array provide an air gap that cools the roof keep the interior so much cooler.

Pressurize that engine room with some HEPA's to reduce particle generation. Install either returns in the room or just some dampers to regulate the pressure. They make sheet metal panels just for interior coverage.It also creates a large air gap by going over the wall girts.The air gap helps by over 60% if you decide to air condition in the future. Also since it’s coated it’s easy to clean.It will help lighten the place up if you go with a light color.

As a farmer and livestock breeder, I’ve got to agree with others. Either the dyno is put somewhere else, or you fence off somewhere else for the livestock. While the noise wouldn’t be too bad if they were blocked off, having the dyno blasting them would be horrible. BUT, shop noises rarely fase cattle. I can be in the paddock with a chainsaw, or setting the timing at WOT, and there will always be atleast one cheeky bugger trying to get a nosie. IF, you do decide to have livestock, and treat them respectfully, a couple Dexter, low line, Angus or belted galloway would be perfect. Get a bull and a heifer as yearlings or wieners and raise them to eat from your hand. Stick them together and they’ll breed a little bub each year for you. Just make sure to seperate the prodigy before they reach maturity. Papa will try and mount any heifers that he’s raised. Since you have 10 acres, why not fence off a big paddock and have a few head?? Depending on your weather, you could have up to 1 per acre. Likely 1 every 2acres though.
@silvo6143 жыл бұрын
As a lifelong Florida man this blew my mind. We'll go shooting in the corner of my good friends pasture. After a couple shots all of a sudden you have 50 head of cattle come over to hang out and watch from 20 yards away. Meanwhile dogs will freaks out when hearing a fire work from a town over

Can even be setup to simulate hi traction off the line and then less traction at say 80feet etc. See this video from Steve Morris Engines kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y37bdWmwj56saac
